Welcome to the digital guide for the Monte d'Accoddi archaeological area.
You can choose to follow the guided tour in 7 stages, which accompanies you step by step through the sanctuary, or explore the site freely using the interactive map, accessing the stage that interests you directly with text and audio guide.
How the guide works
The guide is designed to accompany you during your visit and to allow you to explore the site even from home. Each stage includes:
• a descriptive text with images of the point of interest;
• an audio guide that can be played from your device;
• additional insights linked to the “Insights” section.
If you prefer a precise order, follow the guided tour From Stop 1 to Stop 7.
If you want to move freely, use the Interactive map.
Guided tour
The guided tour follows the traditional visit route, from the entrance of the archaeological area to the inner structures of the sanctuary.
The stages are numbered from Stage 1 to Stage 7 and correspond to the site’s main points of interest. For each stage, you will find a summary text, the audio guide, and links to further insights.
If you are physically at Monte d’Accoddi, you will see the same points of interest marked and numbered on-site along the path, using the same 1-7 numbering used in the digital guide: this makes it easier to orient yourself between the physical space, the interactive map, and the audio guide.
Interactive map
Select one of the red numbered circles on the map to access the corresponding stage. The numbers match those of the 7-stage guided tour. For each point of interest, by clicking the “Learn More” button, you can:
• read the description of the site;
• listen to the dedicated audio guide;
• move to the next or previous stage of the guided tour.
Listening tips
For the best experience when listening to the audio guides, we recommend using headphones or earphones, out of respect for other visitors. Remember that the guide’s content can also be accessed before or after your visit, to prepare for the tour or to explore what you have seen on-site in more detail at your own pace.
